The original pair of Serpentinite Gauntlets are a bit smaller and shorter than Lucy wanted--the hazards of knitting for someone across the continent--so Annie adopted them and I’m knitting Lucy a new pair.

This time I’ll start on round 73, using one size larger needles than before, and will include the wrist gusset as appropriate. Other than that, I’ll follow what I did on the last pair.

To incorporate smaller gusset, cast on 72 stitches, work 10 rounds of rib, k 1 round plain. Begin chart.

I don’t love the gusset pattern, especially since I’d only be doing the stripey bit, so I’m just going to use a section of the palm pattern for my gusset.
