Notes

Andromeda often does not wear mittens because you cannot eat while wearing mittens, so her hands get very, very cold. I’m hoping a pair of fingerless mitts with sparkly stars on will at least keep her a little warm!

Because I would not be happy with the fabric at over 10 stitches per inch even if I could achieve it, and Andromeda still has quite small hands, I cast on 48 stitches and have used that stitch count for the entire mitt. I’ve copied the stars and a moon from the Sun and Moon sock pattern, and added a few random other specks, to make these more appealing to my star-and-moon-loving-niece. Hopefully they fit reasonably well, and she is happy to wear them!
