I’ve loved this pattern since it was first published, and our KAL is the perfect excuse to cast on! The first few rows took a fair bit of attention, but now that the pattern is established and my fingers have a rhythm it is a fun, fairly simple knit.

The edging pattern is very intuitive, but the bobble rows are loooong. Halfway through the first one I realized using a crochet hook to make the bobbles helps a lot, and halfway through the second I decided to keep the Yearning in my left hand and pick up the Moonglow with my right as needed, which speeded it up even more. Who knows how fast these rows will go by the time I get to the last one!
