These were a super-fun knit! And no, they didn’t take me this long to knit…they began life as Francies in Wollmeise Twin, because the interesting ribbing made me think of winding highways (hence the “Top Gear-inspired name), but we just weren’t getting along. This yarn and pattern, however, were a perfect match- so much so that I didn’t even mind knitting an entire pair of socks on 0s!
Lovely, fun pattern- super-stretchy and easily memorable. Kudos to Debbie O’Neill; she’s made me see that top-down socks can be fun. :)
