frogged Whenever for yarn 8/14/19

I love, love, love this pattern.
5/22: separated sleeves from body. On round 17 of stripes.
6/6: cast off body. Feels just a smidge short, even though I knit the body to 15” and double-checked the length against one of my favorite shirts. Here’s hoping it blocks out a little longer.
6/24: finally started first sleeve. GOD I HATE PICKING UP SLEEVE STITCHES. Picked up 69 (heh) stitches by assuhdent, but whatevs. It’s a sleeve. Mods: two extra arm stripes to account for my monkey arms. Only decreased to 54 stitches and didn’t go down a needle for the rib.
7/2: first sleeve finished!
7/9: aaaand it’s a sweater! If I were to make it again, I’d go up a needle size- my gauge came up a little small, but hopefully blocking will take care of that. I’d also cast on fewer stitches-- the neckline is closer to a bateau neck than the crewneck I was hoping for-- but potentially increase to a size or two larger for the sleeves so I could fit a lightweight button-down underneath.
