Notes

This is my second test for Vicky Chan. Her designs are fabulous!

This is the 3rd garment I’ve made using this one huge cone of yarn. And it seems there’s enough for at least a couple more projects as well. So far, I’ve knitted two pullover sweaters and a shawl. I love the natural look and nubby texture of this yarn. I have not encountered a single join which is amazing. This is probably a weaving yarn because it has zero stretch. However, it knits up beautifully and is very strong.

Needles used:

US size 8 for the entire thing since I have very broad shoulders. From top to the armholes, I used 2 circulars (Susan Bates). When I joined in the round under the arms, I switched to my Addis with a 60-inch long cable.

I bound off using a crochet hook like this. Used Susal Bates size 9 or I.

Weight of finished garment: 8.5 oz (241 grams)
