Notes

The previous pair of Powder Snow Mitts I made for Royal has been washed dozens of times (machine washed/dried) and iare looking a little worse for wear. So it’s time for a few more pair of fingerless mitts for my father-in-law. These fit great and he wears them on a daily basis. His hands get cold easily now at age 91.

I love designs that look complicated (interesting) but are actually very easy to knit. This pattern falls into that category. I knit these holding two strands of yarn together and they are the softest, squishiest combo. Dad absolutely loves these mitts. I know I’ll make many more of these in years to come. It’s a quick project in between my compulsive test knitting.

This is how I did my tubular cast-on.
