Notes

Jennifer Weissman’s patterns are the best I’ve seen with regard to fit, clarity, layout and correctness. She’s also incredibly creative. Her designs are absolutely beautiful.

Needles used:

Size 5.5 US (4mm) Addi - Body
Ravelry calls this a size 6 US, but it’s actually smaller than a size 6 Susan Bates and other major American needles.

Size 3 US - First 2 rounds of neckband and sleeve ribbing

Size 2.5 US - Second 2 rounds of neckband

Size 2 US - Bottom ribbing & last 2 rounds of neckband + Russian bind-off

Size 0 US - Bottom ribbing, sleeve ribbing & bind-off (JSSBO)

Weight of finished garment: 11.5 oz (326 grams)

I did 11 vertical repeats of the front and back panel chart.

I picked up 116 sts for the neckband using size 3 US needle.

The pattern calls for a bind off done like this.

However, I did my neckband bind off like the following tutorial. It might be a little more stretchy, but the ridge formed on top is not as visible:

Video tutoria - Russian Bind-off
I did this only for the neckband. For the lower and sleeve bands I did JSSBO (Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind off) because the latter wears like steel and these areas get a lot of friction during wear.
