Notes

This knit up really fast.

I wanted something for my mom that was ribbed so it would stay close, but had some style.

I used the whole ball of Kashmir, it wasn’t super long, but then it didn’t get in your way as much either. This yarn seems to hold its shape pretty well, at least when it is ribbed like this. I liked the feel, and the lack of fluff/fuzz that most yarns that I had been using lately displayed.

Details:
-I cast on 80 st with a 16in circular US7 needle.
-Then marked with beginning with a little plastic marker and joined the piece into a circle and purled for a row.
-Next I p4, k4 (repeat)
-After that I just looked at the row I had finished and made sure that the new row would move the farthest knit/purl 1 stitch to the left (or I guess to the right if you’d like)
-For example:
(I had a row of purling first, but you don’t need it)
row 1: p4k4
row2:k1p4k4
row3:k2p4k4
row4:k3p4k4
row5:k4p4
row6:p1k4p4

I ran out of yarn, figured it was good enough, I was going to purl a row before I bound off, but I just bound off while purling instead.

I have no idea how many rows I did. Sorry, if you try it you’ll have to figure it out for yourself.
Note: I did not block it.
