Notes

August: Had 3 skeins of this yarn, and found this pattern that called for same. Upon purchasing the pattern, I realized yarn is to be held dbl – which means I needed 6 skeins! (Oops!) So now I’m knitting it with single yarn on the same needle size called for in the pattern - hoping that a much more airy, loose knit will work!….crossed_fingers!

December: Hibernated it for a number of months. Finally finished it. Colour is not good for me. I don’t know what possessed me to get orange yarn… I don’t have anything that is orange and now I know why! And the loose gauge and ‘airiness’ is just a bit sloppy looking, ultimately. It’s a pretty pattern, but I don’t know if I misread the amount of yarn or it wasn’t made clear, but in order to hold double I should’ve had 5 skeins. It’ll be ok in the summer over a tank top, but just ok. :-/
