This pattern is well written and a pleasure to knit with one of my favorite yarns. The pattern calls for DK but I got gauge using yarn in my stash.

The dark look of the yoke comes from the natural shading of the hand dyed yarn. It just happened to end at the bottom of the yoke.

The only mod was to crop both the sleeves and bottom. After picking up the sleeve stitches I knit two rounds even then did five rounds of rib stitch, BO in pattern.

The body of the sweater is cropped, 10.5” from underarm with 5 rows of rib, BO in pattern.
