Love, love, love this fun pattern. Quick knit (2 strands worsted held tog); like many others did some modifications. Had quite a bit of yarn left but did need two skeins.

Here’s what I did, plus some interesting ideas from others, ESPECIALLY http://www.ravelry.com/projects/seni/bulky-yarn-booty who figured out knit-in-the-round and gave it to us. I didn’t use her idea this time because I forgot to look first & knit later, but next time, yahooo!

What I did this first time was follow the pattern except for the cuff as below:

REVISION TO CUFF
RS (inc row) : k2, m1, K2, m1 etc., end k2 (38 sts). WS: purl back
Row 1 Purl
Row 2 Knit
Row 3 Purl
Row 4 Purl
Row 5 Knit
Row 6 Purl
Repeat Rows 1-6, 3-1/2 times (21 rows)

Next time, knit in the round & I’m going to make the heel a little rounded by starting with fewer stitches & increasing along the edges to make the corners “round”…. I hope. Anyway, it’s a lot of fun.
