Really pumped with how the neckline turned out. It looks beautiful! I had a bit of trouble keeping it within the blocked size while also keeping the eyelets centered. The swish grows! keep in mind and make sure to be very accurate with measurements.

Picking up the stitches around the neckline was a huge project! Had to get out the measuring tape and the calculator and plot out all of the sections with safety pins. Even so, it still took three tries to get it perfect but has been smooth sailing after this drama.

I have finished the body and am now working on the sleeves! Took me a few rounds to wrap my head around the braid pattern again but it came back to me pretty easily. I’m almost out of yarn even though I ordered the kit from knit picks. I’ll probably need an extra two skeins to finish the project, a minor annoyance.

Finally got the yarn I needed. The kit I purchased ended up being short nearly two balls.

To prevent flaring at the end of each sleeve cuff when I was casting off I knit the two stitches together at the middle of each four stitch cable repeat. Worked out really well. Wish I had thought of this when casting off at the bottom of the main body which was flared.

I included a picture of how I decided to seam the top of the neck where the I cord goes. I used mattress stitch and picked up the first bar on the outside of the knit stich on the top and the bar in the middle of the last knit stitch on the bottom.
