Started out by using Chick Pea Studios’ Crochet Basket Pattern to crochet the bottom and up the sides. Then I switched to treble crochet for one row, then 2 more rows of sc and finally an eyelet border: ch5, sc in the 3rd ch and repeated to the end of the round. Finished with a ss and fastened off.

I put a stainless steel bowl that was the exact diameter of this crocheted basket in the bottom to lend stability while filled.
