Mods - Wanted short mitts so I only knit 9 rows of the 1x1 rib.

Excuse the crummy pics! I knit the right mitt first and took a pic from my cellphone with my left hand (I’m a right hander.). AND the pic of both mitts is deceiving. The mitts look wonky and like a different color. I took that pic with my webcam on top of my head and my hands bent in front of me. A photographer I am not! ;p
