Notes

Provisional cast on with waste yarn because I plan to go back at the end and do an icord bind off. I’ll use a big needle, because I don’t want it tight.

22-07-2021

I changed needle size where indicated in pattern, but did not shift the stitches as instructed in Section 2. I just continued with the stitches as set in Section 1.

03-08-2021

5.5 mm needle to cast off the I-cord edge at the top.
Retrieved the stitches from the provisional cast on, and used 7mm needle to again use an i-cord to cast off the lower edge. Good stretch.

Used random scraps of fingering weight yarn approx every 2 inches, where I worked two rows with a contrast scrap colour
