Notes

CO 56, Ysolda’s tubular CO using 40” circs and Magic Loop. First 2 rows of CO in rows, then worked in the round beg w/P1, (K2,P2) etc. Sewed up the gap from the first 2 rows during finishing.

Since I had 28 sts on each half, I worked the heel flap for 28 rows, giving me 14 selvedge sts. For heel turn, I worked short rows by knitting 16 sts, ssk, k1, turn. Follow as written. For gusset, pickup 15 sts on each side of heel flap.

I worked 11 lace repeats, 2 rnds St st (as written), then added another rnd where I decreased 4 sts before working the ribbing, to tighten up the toe opening: k6, k2tog, k6 rep 3 more times. Worked 5 rows of 2x2 ribbing, then BO in rib.
