I have not been knitting for at least couple of years. However, I found this website I felt like to do something easy (was inspired by many over here).

I cased 199 (even though I thought that I did 200) and just started with a basic pattern k1 p1, and after few rows in the middle of the scarf I did pattern which I saw on ravelry.
