I made the body a little longer for myself. Then I cast on 78 stitches and went down to 68 for a hat for my three-year-old! The yarn did a weird spiral pooling thing on her hat, but I think it looks nice. This is way more orangey than I expected, but I like it! I used buttons from my husband’s grandma’s stash (cheap plastic that he said she took off of a coat) that my daughter really liked.
