Challenge: Enhancing selfstriping sockyarn

Yarn: Schoppel Admiral R Druck, colourway Katzenbeißer
Needles: 2.5 mm (US 1.5) Knitpro Symfonie Wood DPNs (15 cm) and Bamboo DPNs (20 cm)
Notes: CO 64 st., cuff 12 r., German short rows photo tutorial, leg 3 tiers in pattern, standard heel flap and stockinette foot - a fascinating pattern, you cannot stop, want to know how the next triangle will look like :-) But after the leg I had enought short rows and as I prefer the fit of a heel flap I decided to make the foot in stripes as they come out of the yarn. There is a warning in the pattern that it is a yarn eater, that seems to be true. Although I worked the feet in plain stockinette and only a medium size I needed 0.74 g, that’s a lot. The yarn has irregular stripes so sometimes colours met in the next tier a bit unexpected. Made fun, no doubt!
