Beach Pebbles Cowl

200 yards bulky yarn. Can be knitted with any weight yarn as long as you use a needle size appropriate for the weight yarn. Solid colors, tonals, and slow changing colors work best to showcase the stitch work.

Size 10.5 needles (32” to 40” for magic loop) circular or double pointed

Abbreviations
CO - cast on
BO - bind off
PM - place marker
sts - stitches
K - knit
K2togtbl - knit two together through the back loop
M1 - make one by lifting strand from between sts with tip of right needle from back to front and purl it
Rnd - round
P - purl

CO multiple of 2 stitches. I used 82 sts. Join in the round, no twists. PM at beginning of round.

Knit 1x1 ribbing for 5 rounds

Set up rounds:
Rnd 1: knit all sts
Rnd 2: knit all sts

Begin pattern
Rnd 1: K2togtbl all sts to end
Rnd 2: P1, M1 purlwise to end of rnd
Rnd 3: K
Rnd 4: K

Repeat rounds 1-4 to desired length then knit 5 rounds ribbing and BO. Block, if needed.
