This afghan kit came to me from my mother-in-law’s mother, who passed away last year. My MIL asked me to make the afghan from the kit. Previous to this project, I’d done a little crochet and no cross-stitch, so it was a challenge!

The third photo is of the backside of the cross-stitched lilac flowers, just for fun. The final project is quite sizeable-- about 53” by 62”.
