Notes

11/21/2016: Really happy with how this turned out. Beautiful yarn to work with, but I find I can’t wear it directly against the skin. Love the pattern, but it did take some careful attention to stay in pattern when decreasing.

I used the tubular bind-off as demonstrated in the Very Pink Knits video on You Tube.

03/07/16: I’m glad I took the time to rip back and get the cable sequence back on track. It looks better now. To keep track of the cable sequence on decrease rows, I placed stitch markers at the beginning of the first cable and at the end of the last cable, then moved the markers each time a stitch was decreased. Others have commented that they did this; it definitely helps you to keep your place in the pattern.

03/05/2016: I had to rip back 18 rows to the sleeve separation row and start over because I had changed the start of row, thinking the 11+11 backwards loop cast on stitches under each sleeve would throw off the 6-stitch cable sequence. (Wrong. Trust the pattern.) I never could get the cable sequence right again over 18 rows of trying. Back to the starting point at the sleeve separation--I hope this works…

02/09/2016: Thanks to helpful tips from Hannah Fettig, I think my confusion has been resolved.

02/07/2016: I am completely stuck at row 15. Can’t figure out how to determine when to bring in a new cable sequence at the start of a section. Is it when there are 6 free stitches following the M1L at the start of an increase row? Any help would be much-appreciated!
