Second time knitting this because the first one was too large for my friend’s dog, and this one looks too small. The photos of the dog wearing the sweater are my friend’s, not my own, as I never was able to see it in person. If you knit this and have access to the dog, I would recommend trying it on them at several points during the process.

I knit this one the next size down from my first project, so 18” on size US 3. Made 3 rounds of decreases 5 rows apart in stockinette/body. Added one extra round of purl stitches just before bind-off edge because other knitters’ notes have indicated this keeps the edge from flipping up.

The pattern seems to have incorrect math in the size 18” setup round for cables and increases, which led me to tink back and check, then re-check my stitches, finally realizing my stitches were fine and the pattern is incorrect.
