This is a slow project, as other knitters have commented, and a bit tedious. I found it necessary to set it aside for long periods, coming back to it after months in hiatus. But, as other knitters have also commented, it was a labor of love--such a beautiful pattern, and the fabric density and texture is also a wonderful thing.
