I struggled A LOT with this sweater! The pattern was VERY well written but I had a really hard time getting gauge with this yarn. I actually started and frogged it 3 times. The fourth time finally worked. Then, because I moved up needle sizes, I thought I would run out of yarn. The yarn was a special color that went from light to dark in six skeins. I contacted Madelinetosh and they had only one more set left and they sold me two of the skeins. I didn’t use all the yarn but, I was able to make the sweater with the color changes that I wanted to make.

I ended up making it with short sleeves because I will wear it in a climate that doesn’t get as cold as Michigan so they will work out better.

I would make any Jennifer Steingass pattern any old day! They are beautiful designs and well written!
