You see every stitch and can knit right with her.

It is worth the time to watch the videos and write the directions for yourself. One can buy written directions for a very reasonable fee.

I only make worked flat knit yarn toys so I love that her knit designs are worked flat.
(One can convert to in-the-round on dpns or magic loop, if desired, by working flat for the legs, then joining after row 5 and making all body / head stitches knit-wise thereafter.)

She has a beautiful technique for seaming that is easy and enjoyable even if you hate sewing.

Each one used about 15 g, 35 y.

The original design resembles a koala and I aimed to make little koalas but they just wouldn’t cooperate. This was no fault of the designer. They looked like Ewoks instead, so, I went with that. Fashioned hoodies for each one with a rectangle of brown felt. I think a little Star Wars fan will be happy with them.
