Such a darling design.
The directions are impeccable with excellent stepwise pictures. An ambitious beginner can make this design.

I didn’t want to use plastic craft eyes so the doll could be given to someone under 3, but I had trouble making embroidered eyes. I elected to use 9.0 mm brown craft eyes.

The hair braid on the design doll is thicker because it looks like 18 strands were braided. The design says to use 12 strands.

The hat is plenty big. I attached it and made a beanie top as well. One could style it as a slouchy.

The skirt fit just right. I added length.
