It is amazing to me that anyone would design this creature.
Thank goodness the creative Ms. Marth took it upon herself to do so.

Making this design is different from the format one usually sees, so it helped my brain from rotting.
Anyone can make this pattern. The challenge is fun and rewarding.

Recommendation:
Work antennae as written r 1 - 4.
Omit r 5 and 6.
This results in antennae 12 st ea.
Joining the two results in 24 st.
Next row after the join, (3 sc, inc) to 30 st.
Work Head / papilla as written.
