Wanted to get 2 hats from one skein. It worked!

PATTERN NOTE- When starting decrease rounds, I put a pin marker below the start of the decrease round to keep track of where the round ended. The first stitch of each round migrates one stitch to the right. I moved marker as needed to keep track of where I was, it gets pretty confusing as you get closer to the top.

Crochet cast on 76 sts with a G6 hook onto size 5 needle. K2P2 for 1.25”, on last ribbing round, increased by 5 stitches (kfb or pfb in every 15th st), total 81 sts. Switched to 7’s, did the K9, P1 until 10 grams of yarn left, then started decrease rounds (had estimated decrease rounds to be about 10 grams on previous hat). Actually only took 8 grams to do decrease rounds.

Repeated same for 2nd hat except I started decrease rounds when 9 grams left. Had about 20” leftover yarn! Yaay!
