This hat is for a friend of a friend with cancer.

Gauge is tighter than pattern calls for, so did the large size pattern to get the small size measurements.
Crochet cast on 96 sts with an F hook.
2 pattern repeats instead of 3.
Started decreases just past 5” in length.
Decrease rounds took 10 grams of yarn.

2nd pic was without flash to best catch the spiral, so color is not true. Color more accurate with first pic.
