This was a sweet knit, but I was glad to have the project notes from KnotDoneYet.

To summarize her corrections:

• On row 49, I knit 14 stitches instead of 15 before the K2tog.
• I knit 2 rows after short rows were done and bound off on the 3rd row.

In addition to the errors she notes, I also discovered that the chart abbreviations indicate that a “-” is “P on RS row”. That is incorrect, it should be to “K on a WS row”.

Also, on row 45, you lose one stitch by ending with a K2tog and no corresponding YO , so your total sts goes down to 247. This doesn’t matter except when you are at the end of your short rows, you will have one less stitch at one end than the other.

I did a crochet cast on with an I hook. I should have used a bigger hook, J or even K. It was pretty tight when blocking, but not bad enough to undo the whole thing!

I probably could have gone down to a size 6 needle. My shawl came out bigger than I think it was supposed to, altho it doesn’t give finished dimensions anywhere that I can see. I didn’t bother checking gauge before I started as I had plenty of yarn. And I usually use a size 7 with fingering weight, so figured it would be fine. I don’t think I accounted for the slippery factor of my yarn!

Rather than doing the pattern bind off, I also did the p2tog bind off on a RS row with my size 7 needle.
