Did the original Summer Flies pattern first. Project notes here - Teal Summer Flies. Didn’t like the ruffle, so pulled out section 7 and started with this edging instead.

It went fine, but used up 3 skeins of yarn just for this alternate edging. And I’d only used 3.5 skeins total for the original. So this made it much, much bigger. But it’s lovely for those chilly fall temperatures.
