First 3 rds stockinette for a curling edge. Then 1 rd of 1x1 ribbing.
27 rds after ribbing rd.

For the glove for the right hand, I have knitted 24 sts after BOR, then the 14 sts for the little finger - to locate the thumb a little bit more towards the center of the palm (because it feels more natural / the hand looks like that when relaxed).

Picked up 7 sts front & back for little finger, casted on 3 - 17 sts. Knitted 9 rds (thinking about reducing again to 8).

Then knitted 5 full rounds for the other three fingers. (Between little finger and these rounds - picked up 2 ditch sts and knitted them together with the st of the palm.)

6th round was start of ring finger.

Knitted 8 sts front & back for ring finger, casted on 4 sts - 20 sts. Knitted 10 rds.

Picked up 8 sts front & back for middle finger, picked up 4 plus 2 ditch sts from between ring + middle finger, casted on 4 sts.

Thumb: Picked up 20 sts + 2 ditch sts, knitted 10 rds.

Reduced rds of little finger to 8 rds, then bound off. Much better (don’t like when the edge of the glove sits in the bend of the finger, I want that below that point).

Finished knitting.
I have to remember to put in stitch markers at important steps next time, because otherwise I spend a lot of time recounting the first glove when knitting the second.

I didn’t realize I miss the striped computer gloves I left in Shetland so much until these were knit. They are really me.
