I love knitting cool patterns. Brioche is such a great way to knit with two colors. It has been described as the squishy stitch that feels like a hug--KnitPicks!

The first time that I knit this hat pattern was way before Ravelry existed. I’m now remembering that there are serious problems with this pattern. There is something super wrong with the instructions for the crown. Other people have noted it as well. Sadly, the Errata from the publisher doesn’t make any note of it.

When knitting the crown, pay close attention to the dark color and follow some of the instructions for decreasing the colors. Make sure you keep the dark color in the forefront. (If anyone has the correct instructions, I’d love to see them.)
