Notes

Lovely yarn. Wish I had more colors.

Ball band gauge: 23 sts x 31 r = 4”
My Garter Stitch gauge: 20 sts x 36 r, 18 ribs = 4”

CO 24 sts. Work 5 row stockinette st.

At beg next row CO 4 sts using cable cast on, Knit rest of stitches.
At beginning of next row, Purl 4 sts, Knit rest of stitches, CO 4 sts at end of row.

Next and remaining rows: Purl 4 sts, Knit 28 sts. The four stockinette stitches forming at each edge will roll to opposite sides so scarf is reversible.

Work until desired length, leaving enough yarn for about 6 or 7 rows.

Bind off 4 sts at beginning of next row. If the side facing you is the side toward which beginning edge rolls, Knit rest of row, otherwise Purl this row.

Bind off 4 sts at beginning of next row. Work 4 more rows in stockinette stitch. Bind off all stitches.

Scarf is completely reversible because each edge rolls in opposite direction.
