Natasja Hornby’s summer design has a beautiful lace pattern that caught my eye. I’m delighted to be part of the test.
The original is knitted with Pascual Sole. I was going to use some of my stash, but then I ordered Sole too. The cashmere cotton is soft, as the name suggests. I was not disappointed. It is very nice and soft and the stitches are very even when knitting with it.

I started the neckline rib from the shoulder line.

As usual I played around with the pattern. I took the Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair and knitted it into the flower petal section with Sole.
I tried the sweater on before I started the lace pattern, but still had to add a little length to the last few rows of the bottom. I made them the same width as the neck rib so as not to deviate too much from the pattern.

Sleeves - I knitted them a total of 40 rounds before the rib. Before that I dec a total of 4 sts (2x2sts).

Sleeve length from underarm - 13cm.
Body length from underarm - 33cm
Chest circumference - 96cm

I really enjoyed knitting it. If you knit from the top down you can check the length and fit at any time and make adjustments if necessary. I always like to knit the bust darts on Natasja designs as it makes the fit even better.

My daughter was model for me. For her, Sylven’s positive ease is about 5cm at the bust line.
