The Yua sweater is a must-have for summer. Surprisingly, it is knitted from the bottom up. However, you can still try it on as you knit.

I would definitely recommend knitting a swatch. If you are unsure how your gauge will turn out when knitting in the round, it is essential to test it in this way.

I was torn between two sizes. That’s why I chose needles that would give me the desired result. The original pattern called for 20 stitches per 10 cm, but I ended up with 21 stitches per 10 cm, which gave me a circumference of 98 cm instead of 102 cm.

As I wanted the body to be slightly longer, I added an extra pattern repeat, as recommended. This gave me a body length of 36 cm from the underarm.

I knitted the sleeves to 38 cm, including the cuff.

This is a quick and enjoyable project to knit. The lace pattern requires a little more attention, but this keeps you engaged.
The end result is fantastic and the garment fits perfectly.
