2nd Place Open Adult Category Socks/Mittens, Lane County Fair 2013

2/4/13: STR is crocking bad on my fingers. I didn’t notice it at first but after a few hours I look like I’ve been eating blueberries.

The instructions are a bit confusing when starting the lace pattern on the leg - “work until piece is 2” long” but previous parts of the sock were as long as 2.5”, so it can’t mean the whole sock. I’m going to treat it as if it’s just the lace pattern length. Not too much guidance on how to place the lace pattern to be centered on the back of the leg. I’ll just have to wing it.
