My first sweater! We’ll see how it goes…

Started with an XS, waiting to see how it fits.

4.21.12 - After first try on it’s a little tight, so I took out a few rows, back before finish those increases, and increased for 2 more rounds. Adding 16 stitches total, 8 to the width of the body.

4.23.12 - Got to the end of the bust line and decided it was going to look a little big around my waist, so I went with decreasing it 16 stitches total (4 every 6 rows). A little something like this:

K up until 3 stitches before marker, skp, k1, sm, k1, k2tog.

4.26.12 - Decided to go ahead and do the sleeves. I picked up 4 st to close the gap, for 80 st total. Only k 7 rows total. 2 rows St st, 5 rows of twisted ribbing. Also decreasing to 72 st.

4.28.12 - 3 more inches to go! Adding one extra increase to the bottom, 12 stitches total. Really love how it’s turning out, and just the accomplishment of making a sweater!

5.1.12 - The sweater is washing as I speak! Then blocking and final photos. :)

5.3.12 - Just a few extra details - I did a twisted rib stitch at the bottom for 2 inches instead of 1.5. And after blocking the sweater’s 22 inches from the neckline down. And I love it!
