Using yarns I had on hand, I’m adapting the slouch pattern into more of a toque that will, hopefully, fit a nine-year-old.

I’m working just over half the colourwork chart, stopping before making the large maple leaf, and filling in some empty space around it with a simple dotted pattern. In theory, I think this is a great workaround, but we’ll see how it works out!
