I just love the way these two colorways play and stripe.
It appears that (from my experiments),whether knitting in the round or on the straight you can pretty much get the same effect, wide bands with the smaller stitch count and finer stripes with the greater stitch count.
The other thing I noticed was the skein seemed longer than normal, it was too long for my usual setting and kept sliding off the swift!

As I am not a cowl wearer I decided to ‘Scarfologise’ it!…
Finished length: 130cms (including corded fringe)
Width: 18cms

Cast on: 300 sts.

I really enjoyed watching the colours in both of the colourways (with my stitch count), contrast in their alternating pattern from light to dark along the yarn as the Linen Stitch played out, fascinating…Love, love, love :)
