Easy to follow pattern. Love the the way the diagonals are mirrored in this sock pattern. Love the colorway.

I knit the large size because the diagonal decreases and increases of the sweeping architecture of the socks tends to tighten and twist the leg a little.

Also I used 2.50mm needles to help ease this tightness to help give more elasticity due to the fact that I am a tight knitter when it comes to the decreases either side of the twisted rib panels.

I cast on 72 sts for the size large and decreased down further to 64sts in the gussets to bring me inline for my size medium for the foot (64 sts) which in turn gave me a plenty of height lovely high instep!

I completed the foot according to large chart and then continued with the toe decreases without adding extra length for my size 38 feet….Perfect!
Will be knitting them again! I recommend this pattern if you want something differently challenging, but they look more complex than they really are!
