Cast on 66 sts. for large size/9 inch foot with size 2.25mm needles for a real tight gauge.
I have 45g of The Superhero Blues left and 83g of Flash.

Added an extra repeat of the cuff pattern and made sure the floats on reverse had plenty of slack.

Used both ends of cake, one either side of intarsia bolt instead of using yarn butterfly.

The silkie worked very well for the intarsia because of its sticky nature.

I enjoyed the intarsia challenge….must be twenty years since I last had a go!

I am going to try to squeeze out the mitts from remaining The Superhero Blues yarn.
Success! Well kind of, #1 mitt took 23g/45g so that means where to find the remaining 1g or so?………..
mini-skein to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!
I will have to wait a few weeks to use it though because it is hitching a ride with the September kit.

I squeezed them as you can see….with 2” to spare!
I did knit an extra pattern repeat on the cuff and the largest size for my wide but small feet!
