This is a nice ribbon yarn, cotton-linen blend. However, it disappears at a terrifying speed! I had 400 g (800 m) which is usually enough for a simple sweater. But again, it is not only about yarn weight but also about fiber composition and the twist of the yarn. The problem was that the store did not have this yarn anymore, so it was an adventure. If you care, you can read here and here.
Overall, I am pleased with the sweater and with the wide ribbing. You can vary the width of the stripes or alternate garter stitch and stockinette etc. I will probably make another similar sweater from a conventional yarn, so to say, in order to write a pattern.
It is difficult to photograph black in artificial light. So I am adding home pics for you in order to see the texture and other pictures where I am wearing the sweater but you cannot see the stitches.
