Notes

At first this combination of yarns was meant for a cardi but the yarns are very soft and do not drape. Finally, I decided to make a long and holey scarf. My adventures are on my blog here and here.

Redel means “ladder” in Estonian because the stitch patter reminds me of a ladder. I used 120 g (cannot say how much of each yarn). It is the same construction as here. I would say 400-500 m is quite enough (two balls of sock yarn or wool with similar qualities, 50 g/200-250 m). The laceweight yarn does little in the sense of gauge, you can add it to get some colour nuance and a better stitch definition.

Update: I was ask to provide my knits for YU Magazine cover model competition photoshoot (you can view a video here and all photos on my blog here. I was invited to the final party and had an opportunity to give a present to my favourite candidate. It was Brandon Bogatšev, he is in the first photo (by Georg Sander Männik).
