Neat felted fleece from Ozark Handspun - to be used as a base for a freeform wrap/shawl - lots of misc. yarns will be used in the making of this piece.
June 13-14, 2009 - brought this one back out of hibernation - started to add and make more freeform bits for it - discovered that it’s best to not think too much about color theory and instead just let it be intuitive… thinking too much sometimes messes up a project!!!
June 18, 2009 bought a beautiful Edgar Berebi spider cabinet knob to use as the button on this piece - embellished with swarovski crystals, I think it’s the perfect addition!
July 4, 2009 - had a friend modify the cabinet knob to be used as a button! I’m still working on it… tested it on a real live model to see how it looks and it’s coming along - this freeform stuff is not as easy as it looks… geez! - getting closer to being done… maybe this weekend - but if not this weekend, then next weekend!
July 12, 2009 - it’s finally done! Photographed and blogged - I’m excited to have finished it and ready to start another similar piece… I learned a lot!
