Notes

March 8, 2008 - I love the way this is knitting up - it’s the first time I have done a top down anything - and I like how it actually looks like something! I am just past the underarms right now and I have begun the slow crawl to the bottom of the piece - lots of knitting - mindless - but beautiful! I think that this one will look very rustic - a good sweater to just throw on to go to the store or to walk the dogs… I do need to comment that the yarn is a bit more rustic than I thought it’d be - I wet joined the balls of yarns - and one or two of those joins are too thick… I’m being TOO picky but I’d be more careful next time (taking 1/2 of the bulk from each of the strands of yarn, and felting the halves together to equal one strand)

May 20, 2008 - almost finished with sleeve #1 - I just need #8 DPN’s to do the cuff… then one sleeve to go and I’ll be done (hooray!)

June 14, 2008 - I finished and love this sweater - it’s warm, fuzzy and simple - top down raglans are a breeze and this pattern is easy easy :) I need to update the photos…
