Notes

Deceptively simple, the Rialta scarf pattern takes full advantage of yarns that slowly change color. The pattern is FREE and is here for you to use and enjoy.

Used 4 skeins of Noro silk garden in random colors, striping every other row - started 12/9/10 on a flight from San Francisco to Tokyo - then to Thailand! The photo of me with the gold leaf fish screen in the background is at the Tokyo Airport :)

12/15/10 Maybe I should have called it the Southeast Asia scarf - knitted more on the flight from Bangkok to Siem Reap, Cambodia -

1/22/11 - 1/24/11 - worked on this scarf on a trip to Seattle, WA, then on a road trip to Portland, OR… it’s continuing to progress

7/20/11 - picked this back up and finished knitting it while waiting for clients as I do HIV testing and counseling.

7/24/11 - announced the free pattern in THIS blog post.
