03-15-2026

I really dislike how close the black and dark brown are. While knitting, I can’t tell the yarn strands apart.

04-05-2026

Very disappointed that I ran out of grey yarn with 10 rows to go on the back, and I still need to do both sleeves. I had to order a second skein of yarn even though I bought 40 yards more than the original pattern called for.

Finished knitting the front, back, and one sleeve. I am getting low on the yellow so it is possible that I will need to order another skein of that too.

I managed to finish without needing an additional yellow skein. Finished knitting all the separate pieces. Now I need to block them before assembly then do all the embroidery. It took forever to weave in all the ends.

May 24, 2026

Finished the embroidery outlines on the back. Still need to do the sleeves and front.

June 5, 2026

All finished binding off the neckline using the twisted rib sewn bindoff. The back neckline keeps flipping over so I have the neckline wetblocking right now. After it’s dried, I’ll get the “after” photos added.
